I just ordered it! I'm finally catching up with the rest of the world and on Thursday I will be receiving my new digital SLR camera. A Nikon D80! I cannot wait. I'll definitely be posting more on my photo blog as I experiment and play with my new toy! I ordered it from B&H Photo Video.
I love my husband! He's so good to me to allow me to have this new toy.
I've been waiting very patiently.

This is soooo cool! You are going to love it! The instructions that come with these DSLR are not great IMHO. I purchased a book - A field guide for our D50 and D70 (well...they are Ben's). It is helpful for me. Ben...he figures these things out on his own through lots of use, talking with his photo friends and he takes photography courses. Have fun!
I bought some DVD tutorial for the D80. Hopefully it'll help me learn all I can do with the camera.
I like my little digital now but I wanted a DSLR. The scale has finally tipped with the cost of investing in one vs. sticking with my film. I love my film camera though. There's a blog coming on from me as soon as I organize my thoughts on it LOL
