Alice & Jasper

Meet Alice & Jasper. Is is our Mallard duck couple that has been visiting us daily this spring. I guess it's been about a month now since they first showed up. They've been very social with us, yet they keep their distance at the same time. They did let me come out with them and take some pictures. The last 2 days we've only seen them one at a time instead of together. We think maybe Alice might have had her babies somewhere so they are taking turns. I'm not quite sure what ducks do.
