Occasionally though, there are certain times when a little bit of Photoshop comes in handy. I ran into one of those times on Wednesday when I went to the Virginia Aquarium. The lighting was obviously not consistency throughout the aquarium and in most cases it was super low lighting, very dark at times. I had a lot of really bad photos, more than good but I had one photo that I did mess with just a little bit and I think I made it more like what I saw with my own eyes. I cannot really tell ya what I did with it - I tweaked the exposure and the brightness just a little bit until I thought it looked more pleasing to the eye. There's still a little to much flash bouncing back but I seriously pretty much no nothing about Photoshop and I'm learning by experimental process only for the time being. :)
What do you think?

I think it looks pretty good. The cropping, alone, helped big time! I think I would crop the right side just a bit more...to get rid of that last remaining part of the fish.
By the way, I am not certain if I would get even one good photo when taking ones in the lighting conditions of the aquarium. Good job.
Also, from what you described...I do not think you hardly Photoshop...plus the original is pretty close to your post-edit photo.
I didn't even notice the tiny bit of that fish left - yes you are right it would be better if it was cropped out.
I'm going to get the membership and go back to work on photos. I think the aquarium is a good spot to work on exposure!
