Autumn Colors At the Gardens

As fall quickly slips away and the cold, winter weather starts to move in, I thought I'd share a few fall photos from this year. Last week my husband and I took a walk at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens to see what we could find.

Hermit Crabs anyone?

On the Virginia Beach oceanfront almost every store has tons and tons of hermit crabs for sale. Well, actually the hermit crabs are free but you have to purchase a "condo" for them which runs anywhere from $9.99 on up depending on the size.

On the Waterfront

I went down to the Waterside today to watch my husband's ship finally leave the shipyard that's directly across the water. While waiting, I had these 2 little guys come up and ask me for some food...I had nothing to give so they quickly waddled on their way. I love birds, ducks, geese...anything that flies.




Another mermaid....


You can see all my mermaids HERE! Watch for more soon, I spotted 4 new ones today while I was out. I hope to go back within a week to take their picture.
